Monday Pick-Me-Up

Did you all have a nice weekend? Mine was relaxing, fun, and way too short! It's been a few weeks since I've shared a Monday Pick-Me-Up, but when I ran across this quote by C.S. Lewis I couldn't resist. I think this quote is such a wonderful reminder and pick-me-up all wrapped up in one. Have an amazing Monday!

Happiness Is

Ever have those weeks when so many amazing things happen you don't even think it could all be possible? Well, that's what my week has been! Between an exciting opportunity that I have coming my way (more news on this soon!) and wonderful news from friends (engagements, jobs, babies, and so much more!) I don't think this week could fit any more happiness in it...but I could always make a little more room!

With all of this happiness on my mind, I started to think about all of the things in life that make me truly happy and decided I'd share a few of them with you today:

Happiness Is

a warm cup of coffee in the morning 

listening to my 90's pop pandora station while at work

homemade macaroni and cheese

receiving a text from my mom just when i need it 

anything with bacon

dancing to an amazing song 

a new box of crayons 

singing at the top of my lungs 

murder she wrote marathons (i'm such a grandma) 

lovely quotes 

cupcake shops

a great glass of red wine

Oh how my list could go on and on! My final "happy share" for the day is the image below. Isn't it adorable? Building forts is an activity that I'm completely on board with bringing back!

Fall is in the Air

Remember my love for beautiful outdoor events? Well, I ran across this image last night and decided that it captures fall so well that I had to share it!

Today would be the perfect day to host a charming outdoor autumn meal. The sun is shining and the first crisp hint of fall is in the air! All that's needed to complete this day is a warm mug of apple cider and a good book to curl up with! Have I told you all how much I love this season?!

Fashion Week Favorites

Happy Friday, friends! As New York Fashion Week comes to a close I thought it would be fitting to give you all a short recap of some of my favorite pieces. From gorgeous textures to lovely colors,I could not get enough of all of the beautiful dresses featured in spring collections! Pouring over images from shows is how I spent much of my free time over the week so I'm curious, what were your favorite pieces of New York Fashion Week?

I'm Back!

Hi, lovelies! I can't begin to tell you all how much I've missed posting here on ATC! I'm sure you've noticed that over the summer I was a little spotty in posting, culminating no posts the last week and a half. What's been up with me you ask? Well, as I mentioned in my last post this summer was one for the books in terms of friends, fun, and excitement (I mean come on, I went skydiving!), but for all of the amazing moments that I had, there were a lot of tough decisions to go along with them.

You see, it seems that my 24th year on this beautiful earth has turned into one filled with decisions...especially when it has come to my career. I'll be the first to admit that when making next step career choices I tend to over-think things, worrying how my choices will play out. In the process of over-thinking this summer, I have to admit that I started to feel a little lost and didn't feel inspired to blog.

The good news is that in the process of being completely confused about my life and path, I've started to recognize what my true passions are. While things aren't entirely clear (and who knows if they ever will be!) just sharing that I don't actually have it all figured out like I've always wanted to believe has seemed to take the pressure off and just allowed me to be.

Now that I'm back, I promise that you can all expect a revitalized All Things Charming filled with new posts that I'm so excited to share!
